Two-hundred miles southeast of Lisbon, where land and sea merge with breathtaking beauty, Portugal's Algarve coast cradles a divine holiday retreat. Originally a Moorish style villa, Vila Joya offers a sublime experience in the atmosphere of a small Oriental palace. Every elaborate room and Royal Suite boasts a terrace or balcony with incredible views of the Atlantic. Celebrate your immersion in the lap of luxury with candlelight dining at the hotel's Michelin two-starred restaurant.
A former fishing village, Albufeira dramatically descends a hillside toward the sea. A Riviera atmosphere envelops this charming resort town, where you can enjoy a cocktail overlooking vibrant fishing boats, take in a dolphin show at the Zoo Marine or spend a leisurely afternoon shopping for ceramics and pottery. Laze on the beaches or play a round of at the nearby Salgados Golf Club. Then return to the hotel gardens and savor the tranquility.

Expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for. It includes 2* Michelin dinner. The surroundings are beautfiul and the rooms and service are also very good. Would go here if you are in a couple or on honeymoon to appreciate it best. Very nice place to stay with a great atmosphere.
