What do you guys in the US think? Will Obama be a better president than G W Bush? There's a lot of hype in Europe at the moment over Obama, but I have yet to hear a real policy from the guy. He reminds me an awful lot of Tony Blair who was a fantastic public speaker but was never consistent in his policies.

I know what you mean. I can't see why people are so excited about him getting in. There'll be no difference at all. I'm sure the US is just like the UK with the civil service pretty much running everything anyway.

I agree with the poster above - I just can't see what difference he will make. The financial crisis won't be solved by politicians. It should be the free market trying to solve the mess they created.
