The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, founded in 1937, is one of the best-known museums in New York City and one of the 20th century's most important architectural landmarks. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright it is home to a renowned permanent collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern, and contemporary art, and also features special exhibitions throughout the year.

The exterior and interior of the Gugg is just incredible. What can I say, Frank Lloyd Wright is an architectural genius. The actual art inside was nothing special and the exterior was under construction when we went, but just walking through the circular interior is a very cool and original experience.
